Save Peanut!!

Please help my good friend get his dog back! :( This is so near and dear to my heart! Peanut has been around my children more times than I can count and has NEVER been aggressive. He's been to their tball practices and everything! He's a big baby and SO sweet! My heart is breaking for Carl and his family! I am praying they can bring Peanut home tomorrow!

Peanut is a family dog who killed a feral cat in an attempt to play with it. He had never attacked or shown any signs of aggression while with his family. His family had to surrender him, and Peanut went to the pound to live in solitude. While he waited for court, Peanut had to live in jail:-( The court date came, and Peanut was ordered to be put down. The owner appealed the case and was told that if he paid the fines and moved Peanut out of the city, he could get him back. By this time, the fees were steep and the owners had to face paying the fines and finding a new place to live. Peanut spent 8 months in jail at a rate of $15/day and the owners need help getting him out. Peanut doesn't deserve to die because his owners don't have all the money. They came up with $2000, but that isn't enough. Peanut needs to get released and be free to run and play like he did before. Please help him!

Every little bit helps... Please help save Peanut's life!! If each of my 800+ followers donated just $1, Carl will be able to bring him home tomorrow! http://virginiapawsforpits.chipin.com/peanut

  1. Such a sad story. Dogs often get agressive with smaller animals especially if they are ones they have never been around. Hope you have a happy ending
