Fear Not, For I Am With You

Fear not, for I am with you; Be not dismayed, for I am your God. I will strengthen you, Yes, I will help you, I will uphold you with My righteous right hand.
Isaiah 41:10

Okay, so I kinda went from the Bible to Star Wars there, but you get the point.

There really isn't much that I am afraid of.

Snakes? Well yes, they terrify me and give me nightmares.
Spiders? Yeah, I'll scream like a little girl and go running across the room.
Heights over water? I can't breathe.

But are those really FEARS? Or just silly phobias that I can't handle?

I think the only real FEAR that I have would be, God forbid, losing my husband or one of my children. I can't even bare the thought.

But seriously, everything else, I know that I can overcome, that it will be over soon, that I am strong.

  3. When I start fearing to do something--I simply repeat to myself-She Came She Saw She Conquered-of course this does NOT apply to snakes--if I see one of them--I suddenly realize how fast I can run!!
