We put a full size bed in Marissa's room and put her twin bed in Aleah's room!
So let me just tell you... We were right to not want to put her in a big girl bed!! At first she was all about it, so excited as you can see in the picture! But then when it came time to turn out the lights, she was NOT feeling it! She's in the same bedroom she's been in, with the same nightlights she's always had, but kept saying it was scary in her new bed! I tried laying down with her until she fell asleep, but she would NOT quit talking (wonder where she gets that from?! ha!), so I told her I was going to watch TV with Daddy and I'd come back and lay down with her once she fell asleep. I thought that was working, as we hadn't heard anything from her for about 15 minutes, but then she came in the living room with us, lol. I let her stay up and watch TV with us until we were ready to go to bed, then I put her back to bed and Daddy dared her to get out!
We went to bed as well, Ivan was almost asleep and I was laying in bed reading on my Kindle when we heard her open her door. We both faked asleep and she tip-toed in our room, walked around the bed to my side, looked at me, figured I was asleep, then walked back out of our room. We could hear her just standing in the hallway, I guess not knowing what to do because she thought everyone was asleep. It was SO funny and was very hard to hold back our laughter! Then we heard her open the door to the steps and went upstairs to her brother & sister's rooms. We heard Marissa say, "Aleah, what are you doing up here?!" and that's when we finally got up and went upstairs to find that Hunter had gone and got in Marissa's new full size bed with her as well and they were just sitting up talking and playing school. Ha! Kids!!! We put all of them back in their own beds and everyone finally went to bed... at like 10:30 pm! LOL!
