I went on a field trip with Hunter's class last week to an art show at the high school. The kids had a great time looking at all of the different art projects and were super excited to see their own art on display for all to see! I enjoyed seeing the different pictures and crafts as well. Some of the high schoolers are REALLY talented!
My daughter just had something similar at her school a few weeks ago. They had all of the rooms open and their art displayed on the walls. It was so nice to get to see what she has been working on all year and I know she was super proud of herself!
Very nice activity for childrens to have Art Show - I remember in grade school and high school joining event like this - but not art show instead it is a competition - luckily my older brother always get the champion on poster making and I am the one who always gets the champion for slogan making contest. Your kids have potentials and it is always nice to see kids interested in art.
I love it when younger kids get to see what older kids are doing. Or that older kids help teach the younger ones. It's a great thing! The art was amazing.
Art shows are so great. I used to love when my daughters elementary school would host them! She would be so proud with everyone oohing over her work! -April
Love walking the halls of the schools and seeing the kid's artwork. The amazing talent that kids have! Love that we still have art in our school because our previous school took it away.
This looks great! I used to work at kindergarten and I loved loved loved when there were childrens art works on the walls, because they all looked awesome in their own way.
That's so cute! I remember when my daughter's art was first featured at an 'art show' for all the local schools. She was so proud! It's a great accomplishment!
I love it!! I can't wait for my children to be more involved in art. My grandfather is a museum docent and I grew up taking classes in museums. So much fun. Thanks for sharing. I am a HUGE advocate for young children and ART and MUSIC!!
That is awesome! I am not able to go to any school events because we are down to one vehicle now. But... it should be done this week, after a year of being with one vehicle I am going to be going to have lunch with them both the day I get my car back lol!
I feel being creative when it comes to drawing, painting and so on, it something many of us stops doing when we grow older. We lose some of that creativity!
My daughter draws a lot. And I always tell her to keep going!
Look like a nice day you guys had. And he's right to be proud :)
I love kids and art! Kids can express themselves in a way that adults can't! That's one of the things I missed about public school vs homeschooling--- special events like this!
Awww, so cute. I love that they displayed all the kids art work. Our school used to do it, but they stopped for some reason, which stinks.
